Baby Ben

Ben joined his big sister a few weeks ago and I got a chance to meet the bundle of cuteness. Someone made these adorable hates for him. I think he rather liked them.

Apologies for the cut off image, but that is why I'm waiting on the new blog....soon soon soon.....

Lily was being cute that day......she had several balls of all different sizes that she wanted to play with me so we had some fun doing that....but she in turn loves to smile for the camera.

Ben I think enjoyed being naked.....he was chatter boxing the whole time and giving smiles.

This is the kind of image that get's me missing newborns....oh, look away....look away!

Can't resist those bare tummies, those cute cheeks, those coo's. I know he's saying 'Pick me up and cuddle me!' I can't.............I just..........well maybe.

Lily was giving baby Ben some kisses while he slept. He was sound asleep into the middle of his session.

Would love to know what he was dreaming to make him smile.

Lily was all about playing and having a good time. She was a good big sister taking care of the baby and helping out Mommy and Daddy. She'll look over him I'm sure as Ben get's bigger. They will be best buds!

Shhhh, the baby is sleeping......

DEAD SPACE: FOLLOW BELOW....

This is Claire. She was just short of two weeks old when I met her. In all the year's I've been doing this, Claire is the first baby to sleep through the session. She was very content. It didn't matter how much we moved her around, she was sacked out.

Jason and Nicole got her to open her eyes for just a short bit...but then she was out again.

We went outside.......she missed that.

And back inside and she continued to sleep.......who needs a lullaby!

Towards the end of our session, it was just humorous that she kept on sleeping, but I don't think Nicole or Jason minded......although they may have later that night. Claire may have made up for it.

Again she gave me a slight little opportunity to see her pretty eyes.......

And then with clothes back on and in her crib, she was out again, that mild coma does the body good!

Good night sweet baby girl.......

Emmy

On Saturday I got to hang out with this cutey in the park for a bit. This is Emmy. She's cute

as a button and full of great smiles.

I was looking forward to this session cause I got a chance to catch up with a past bride

and groom, Mindy and Mike. We photographed their wedding a few year's ago and this

was the first I'd seen them since, so it was great getting to meet their new addition.

Emmy seemed to enjoy being outside on such a lovely day and spending time with her two favorite people.

Emmy was laughing at her silly daddy standing behind me....

Look at that pout! I love those lips.

We finished off the session at the location of their wedding, The Pavillion in Dublin. A nice trip down memory lane.

It was so great meeting up with Mike and Mindy again and meeting their precious Emmy....they've made a wonderful lil family!

Cruz

One thing I never tire of is working with newborns. They are like a perk of the job. Their cuteness and cuddles. The sweetness of a sleeping baby. The boisterous cries, to just looking at this new world that surrounds them and the two most important people in their world, Mom and Dad. Cruz was just under two weeks old when I met his family at their home.

He'd just had a bath, so we started off with some nude photos of Cruz. He wasn't too keen on the water, but once he was bundled up, he was looking all around and content once again.

Love those baby blue eyes.

While Cruz had a firm grip of his Mommy Lucia's finger, he got some special attention from Daddy, Mark to help calm him down. The 'Shssshhing' effect did instant wonders. He instantly would stop crying and listen to his Daddy.

It's funny the memories that come to mind when I am working with clients. I kept thinking back to this same time in my life, all the excitement and for me, fear I felt. So many emotions and feelings running through my veins. And in the blink of an eye, a few short year's have already passed and that time of having a tiny baby are no more.

We went up to Cruz's nursery to get some photos. I was immediately drawn to this old antique chair that goes back several generations of Cruz's family. How could I resist such a beautiful piece of furniture and a sleeping baby?

Lucia and Mark have a grand piano in their home. Lucia I'm sure will teach Cruz the keys to play as he get's older. For now, he was content to just lay on top of it and relax.

Cruz was so alert during his session, so I'm sure once I left he had a nice long nap........I hope!

Meet Liam:

Whew....way back in August, I met little Liam at his home. It was a stormy afternoon, so we made use of his house and had some fun. Liam was all about checking things out and just playing with his Mom and Dad.

Liam loved all the bright colors on the quilts, he was checking them out and feeling the different textures. Who needs toys after all?

What a smile!

We stepped out onto the side porch of their home and got some photos, while it rained down hard beyond us.

Rain or shine, Liam is a happy little guy!

And Baby Makes 3

Hello Adorable! Aside of the cute baby Emma Grace, I can't help but to crave Neapolitan Ice Cream every time I see this image. Both full of sweetness!

Emma Grace was born in July and wasn't very old when I met her and her proud parents, Pat and Kristin in their Dublin home.

One thing's for sure, Emma Grace liked being naked...she was soothed by it, just taking it all in.

She tolerated a hat for a short time and then that was that!

Kristin and Pat were still adapting to being new parents, after all, it's a huge event in one's life. Pat still had that new dad nervousness when it came to holding the baby. He was careful to make sure he held her properly, as a good daddy would do. He clearly loved being able to have her close in his arms.

I don't know about you, but I think ladies would agree with me, this is the kind of thing that melts a Mama's heart.

Emma Grace and her parents will get to experience so many new things this coming year.....what an exciting time. And together they will make wonderful memories.
